Fishing Régulations

Fishing packages will include:

• If flying, ground transportation to and from Wabush Airport.
• If driving, angler’s personal vehicle is used. The packages begin at Lobstic Structure or Gabbro Lake. We will arrange to meet at a pre-determined place in town prior to your departure from Labrador City office to Lodge. Labrador City to Gabbro Lodge – 3-1/2 hour drive. Labrador City to Lobstic Structure pick up point – 3-1/2 to 4 hour drive.
• The American Plan, River Plan and Supreme Plan includes transportation to and from the Lodge is via floatplane.
• The Economy Boat Plan begins at the Lobstic Structure located 3-4 hour drive East of Labrador City for a boat pick up.
• The Economy Road Plan begins at the Gabbro Lodge located 3-1/2 hour drive East of Labrador City. A drive to camp.
• Professional Guides (2:1).
• Boats, motors, gas, life jackets, and landing nets.
• Accommodations at the Lodge.
• Bed linens (Pillows, sheets, and blankets).
• Delicious home-cooked meals.
• Packaging & storage of trophy fish.
• Warm “Labrador” hospitality.

Fishing packages will not include:

• Transportation to / from Labrador City, Labrador.
• Transportation to Gabbro Lodge or Lobstic Structure pick up point. Alternate arrangement maybe made at extra cost.
• Fishing license ($15.00 + tax).
• Personal fishing gear.
• Personal toiletries.
• Accommodations and meals that may be incurred in town prior to or after the end of your fishing trip.
• Alcoholic beverages.
• Gratuities to Staff.

Hunting Regulations

Hunting packages will include:

• If flying into Wabush, Labrador ground transportation to and from Wabush Airport. If driving, we will arrange to meet at a pre-determined place in town.
• Full packages: snowmobiles, sleds, 1 tank of gas/oil.
• Fully guided hunt as required by provincial hunting regulations.
• Accommodations at Northern Lights Lodge, Shaw Lake or Gabbro Lake.
• Accommodations include permanent wood constructed buildings, beds, wood stove heat or electric heat, generator power, running water, flush toilets, hot shower, and bed linens.
• Delicious home-cooked meals.

Hunting packages will not include:

• Vehicle is provided by the hunter

Licenses

• Caribou $120.00 + tax (2 Caribou per license)
• Black Bear $100.00 + tax (2 Bear per license)
• Small Game $ 41.00 + tax (Non-Resident Canadian)
• Small Game $ 78.00 + tax (Non-Resident Alien)
• Fishing $ 15.00 + tax (Non-Resident)
• Transportation to / from Labrador City.
• If arriving to Labrador City by air, ground transportation for the hunt will be extra.
• Hotel accommodations / meal costs that may be incurred in town prior to or after the end of your scheduled hunt.
• Hunter’s gas for vehicle/snowmobile.
• Alcoholic beverages.
• Gratuities to staff.

Snowmobile Rental Regulations:

Operator must be 21 years of age or older. Operator must possess a valid drivers license. A damage deposit of CAD$500 is required. A half hour snowmobile orientation course at no cost. (If not taken, waiver must be signed). Clothing rental available.
